Mini Mushrooms is reconvening for a partially indoors

Winter Session for 2025!

We will be meeting at the Woods Apothecary for a 6-week Winter Session.

Mini Mushrooms will be meeting for the second, third, & fourth Sundays during the months of February & March in 2025.

This session will not be run as a drop-in style program.

The winter session will only have space for nine families per meet-up, so prior sign up is required.

Mini Mushrooms is a 1.5 hour caregiver & child program is designed for children between the ages of 6 months - 3 years old.

The day of the week this program meets changes each seasonal session.

This program aims to hold space to cultivate enriching outdoor experiences for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers (parents, grandparents, babysitters) in the South Lake Tahoe community.

Each meetup begins with free-choice sensory exploration stations and age-appropriate arts & crafts. After free-choice time, teachers lead a group song circle.

Following the song circle there will be a transition into story time. The day will wrap up with an easy hike through the forest guided by our forest school teachers.
