Caydi's last job before transitioning into the wonderful world of forest schools, was as a Garden Educator for the nonprofit organization Explore Ecology. She spent 5 years with Explore Ecology; teaching children about gardening, sustainability, and nature awareness.

Inspired by her experiences in education and in founding Tiny Seeds Forest School, Caydi established the Wildflower Teachers Collective: a community designed to support nature-based educators. This collective provides opportunities for connection, professional growth, and collaboration through quarterly meetings and an annual retreat. It encourages educators to inspire the next generation while prioritizing their own well-being.

Caydi’s lifelong passion for the outdoors drives her mission to create environments that connect children and educators more deeply with the natural world, with each other, and to themselves. She firmly believes that the best classroom of all is the great outdoors!
